Price Paid:  $0.00 at OEM on bike

Bike Setup:
Fuji Roubaix RC stock setup with Shimano mountain SPD pedals.

Summary:
I have not been impressed with these tires. They came stock on my 2008 Fuji Roubaix RC, and I have had flats at least 5 times in 1100 miles. Tire changes have proved difficult, likely due to the wire bead in the tires--I believe this is due specifically to the tire, because I have performed changes on three different rims, and even bent two Park Tool levers (the blue plastic ones, decent levers) in the process.

Strengths:
These tires seem to wear well.

Weaknesses:
Puncture easily.
Wire bead hinders tire changes and makes this tire relatively heavy (310g, typical of a wire bead 700c x 23 tire--a kevlar bead would be lighter)..

Price Paid:  $0.00 at Cyclerama

Favorite Ride:
Smooth roads.

Bike Setup:
Giant TCR Alliance T-Mobile 2008.

Summary:
My Ultrasports look different and newer (graphics wise) to the tyres on this review page and the Continental website. I'm not sure why though. I got them stock on my road bike. I've found a few pictures online of Ultrasports like mine.

The difference above may explain why my experience is completely different to the general consensus because I honestly find little fault in these tyres.

They seem to grip well, but as a novice I have to say I haven't pushed them hard yet. The main problem people seem to have with these tyres are punctures. But, I have not yet had a puncture and my brother, who also runs the same tyres, has had only 1 puncture. They also seem to be wearing well but we've only clocked about 1100km each. Lastly, they come with foldable beads, so are flexible and reasonably light. I wouldn't mind buying them again, but only the versions I'm running now.

Strengths:
Reasonably light and grippy, foldable beads, only 1 puncture over 2200km.

Weaknesses:
None that I can discern, as these are my first road tyres.

Similar Products Used:
None.

I am now running Michelin Kyrilon Carbons for training and these are great a lot less punctures.:)
I also own a road going mountain bike like one of the other reviewers and I am running Conti Contact Sports which are almost puncture proof.

Strengths:
They come on and off the rims easy when flat .....Thats handy !!

Weaknesses:
Puncture Too easy
