at Ebay Bike Setup: BMC SL01 Road Racer, Campy Veloce, FSA RD-200 wheels Summary: I really want to like these pedals more than I do. I was a fan of the previous version (MG-8) because they're light, cheap, have durable metal cleats and allow me to wear shoes I can walk around in. The W-41s have a more secure and solid engagement due to the lack of a platform underneath the cleat, yet more platform around the cleat for the shoe. Much improved feel to the interface! Unfortunately, the pedals are heavier due to a steel body and spindle, versus magnesium and optional titanium for the MG-8s. Also, there appears to be no way to service these pedals. The MG-8s could be easily disassembled, re-lubed, bearings replaced, adjusted, etc. There appears to be no way to do anything with these pedals. Strengths: relatively light
cheap
can be used with mountain/touring shoes
solid cleat engagement
good looking design Weaknesses: not serviceable
no titanium spindle option
color rubs off Similar Products Used: MG-8
