at Performance Bike Favorite Ride: Paramount PDG Bike Setup: 91 Paramount PDG Stronglight compact 46/34x 12-26 all oem orig. RX100 derailleurs, brakes and wheelset.E3 gelform saddle. Summary: I'd been running Vittoria Rubino Pros on the PDG and was hesitant about switching to the Fortezza SE fearing the worst flat wise.
Well, 4000 miles later I'm well into my second pair and bought 2 backup pairs . These are Tubular smooth and fast yet haven't had a flat in all the miles I've ridden on em. I keep the pressure at around 140 vs the max 160 as I'm not sure the oem rims on the bike were designed for that pressure. Strengths: Fast good riding tire with fantastic durability and resistance to flats Weaknesses: I simply haven't found any Similar Products Used: Vittoria Rubino

at performancebike.com Bike Setup: Blue Competition rc4, Sram force, custom build wheels with mavic cpx33, cx-ray spokes, and dura ace hubs. Summary: I have ridden these tires now for well over 2,000 miles. I use them on my bike that I use for racing, training, and touring. They have been great! They have lasted very long, and I haven't had any problems. They are starting to develop some little nicks in them, so it is time to retire them. Couldn't ask for more. Strengths: Lasts long, good traction, sweet blue color that matches my ride. They are pretty cheap too (48 bucks for 2000 miles? that kicks @$$) Weaknesses: None really.

$0.00 Bike Setup: Raleigh R-700. This ~ 1998 aluminum race bike is certainly not new, yet still fast, and has a great geometry!! Summary: Have used this Fortezza SE over the last years and guess I am on my fourth set. Strengths: No flats!! Fast! Relatively inexpensive. Performance has these regularly on sale for about #24. Weaknesses: Cornering could be better! Durability good be better as well. Guess I changed the rear tires at 3,000 miles or less, whereas the front tire keeps 2 to 3 times as long. Had to get used to riding around with blue tires.
