    Price Paid:  $70.00 at Cyclo-Path

    Favorite Ride:
    Temecula Wine Country (CA)

    Bike Setup:
Look 555 with Ultegra components, Rolfprima Elan Wheels

    Summary:
After 450 miles on my Selle San Marco Ponza I decided enough was enough. After sorting through the marketing and racer wanna-be hype I decided to test the science behind the Bontrager Inform R. Needless to say they have hit the ball out of the park with this saddle.

    Strengths:
Very comfortable, the saddles shape is just right offering support wear support is needed and no resistance to the soft bits that other saddles seem to be so adept at. The saddle virtually disappears beneath you and lets you concentrate on what matters most...the miles and the road ahead.

    Weaknesses:
May weigh a little more than other saddles but when you can focus on your ride and not the pain in your rear...well what matters most to you?

Price Paid:  $9000.00 at Outpost Sports

    Favorite Ride:
    S.W. lower Michigan country roads

    Bike Setup:
Trek 1500. Frame, bars, brakes and shifters only thing original.

    Summary:
Having used "cut out" saddles for a number of years, I was somewhat reluctant to try the Inform. As in most performance saddles there is a bit of break in time. This saddle is great!
I am now a believer in the research that states those "fleashy parts" may fall into a groove and become very uncomfortable.

    Strengths:
    Support and comfort!

    Weaknesses:
    none.

    Price Paid:  $69.00 at Bikeline

    Favorite Ride:
    Lancaster country roads

    Bike Setup:
105s throughout, everything stock on my Specialized Allez Elite

    Summary:
I was fitted for this saddle at a local bike shop. I finally found a saddle that was the proper width for my sit bones. The padding is just rights and very comfortable. I did have some numbness in the crotch on my first several rides of about 20 miles and thought I might need a saddle with a cut out, but I adjusted the nose of the seat, pointing it slightly downward, and have been extremely comfortable since then.

    Strengths:
    Fitted for my body type
    Comfortably padded

    Weaknesses:
No cut out, but a slight adjustment was all I needed
Paint wears off easily but not a concern for me
Not the most attractive saddle but my butt could care less about the looks

Price Paid:  $70.00 at Oliver's Cycle Sport

    Favorite Ride:
    Suncoast

    Bike Setup:
    2007 Trek Madone SL 5.2

    Summary:
I have tried and wasted more money on saddles than I would like to admit.

I am FINALLY happy will one.

This saddle is just shaped perfectly and has the perfect amount of padding.

The rear is the perfect width and has steeping sloping sides that seem to just mold to your body (3 different widths to choose from) The nose also narrows a bit quicker tham most saddles so that you can sit on the right part of the seat without you legs rubbing on the nose.

The only saddle that I have used on century rides and was able to forget it was there. I am 6'3" 100

Love it. I may buy the RL model to save a few grams.

    Strengths:
    - Everything

    Weaknesses:
    - Nothing

    Similar Products Used:
    Too Many!

San Marco Era Luxe and Fiznik Arione were the other two best for me

    Bike Setup:
    Madone 5.2 SL
    Trek 1500

    Summary:
Replaced my Bontrager Race Lite Lux on my Trek 1500 and Madone with this saddle. Great saddle, padding where it belongs and less padding where it doesn't. I tried the Inform RL but wanted a bit more padding.

    Strengths:
    Low price, Strategic padding locations

    Weaknesses:
    None yet
