Description The ALUXX Butted Aluminum frame makes the OCR series affordable and ersatile enough for touring, charity rides, serious commuting, and spirited enough for entry level racing.
Summary: I upgraded to this bike after having a miserable time riding a hybrid on RAGBRAI. I tried the OCR 3 women's model but the handlebar grip was too close together for me. I have done 2 RAGBRAIs and 2 triathlons on this bike and put on an additional 1000 miles per year in training.
Strengths: LOVE the top brake levers, i don't care what any of you pros say, they are awesome. Love the 3rd chainring for those monster hills. composite fork is great and the frame is good. its a good bike to customize because you know youre getting a good frame. i just wish i would have known i was going to invest so much in upgrades, i might have gone with an ocr 1 or 2 instead. great for long or short rides. comfy enough to do a century.
Weaknesses: unfortunately, ive changed A LOT of the components, but i've owned this bike for going on 3 years. The adjustable stem was so squeaky I couldn't stand it so i got a new nonadjustable one. I put on spd clipless pedals, and the stock seat is awful so I added a really nice Terry seat. Also the tires both blew out within the first 3 months, i replaced them with nice(skinnier)23mm bontragers. The derailer makes a loud 'boing' sound whenever you hit a big enough crack. that's kind of embarassing while pack riding. wished i could've gotten it in a more interesting color that royal blue.

Summary: Found bike to be true to is "entry level" positive reviews. I'm just under a clydesdale and find the more upright positon most comfortable on 30-40 mi. rides. Spoiled by "baby brakes". After 2 months don't ever use 3rd ring.
Strengths: Durable; Dependable; With training, able to keep up with most average riders on more expensive bikes
Weaknesses: For the price and with limited experience, can't think of any

Bike Setup: Neuvation wheelset, Dura-Ace 9 speed front and rear mech's, Tiagra shifters, Selle Italia ProLink Gel Flow saddle
Summary: I bought this bike used 2 years ago as an intro to road riding. Must have done the job cause i'm still riding and racing and loving it. I have a medium size frame, so it has a short wheel base and its great. replaced the original stem and handle bars for a better fit. its pretty stiff and quick so its great for crits and im a sprinter and it can handle it pretty well. great frame to get into riding with.
Strengths: pretty stiff, not too heavy, quick response. great value.
Weaknesses: original components and saddle aren't all that fantastic. not as stiff or light as carbon.
