Selle Italia Ldy Gel flow saddle Summary: I purchased this bike after researching and test riding other models for several months. I wanted a bike that would be good for commuting as well as for longer leisure rides while not breaking the budget of a graduate assistant. This bike it IT.
After having ridden the OCR3w 2008 for just a few months, I could not be more in love with it. No more numb hands or sore neck as this bike fits me perfectly. The woman specific geometry is beautifully designed and available for taller female riders as well as for women of average stature.
I have ridden this bike on one century (so far) and almost every day for my commute since July not to mention many 30-70 mile weekend fun rides. Cycling has never been so much fun (and so comfortable)!
I have read complaints about SORA shifters, but I like them just fine! I did change the saddle, but because I wanted a cut out seat. The stock seat was actually quite comfortable.
I highly recommend this bike to female cyclists.
Strengths: Shorter reach to drops and hoods/longer reach to pedals.
Lightweight.
Affordable.
Drops perfect size/shape for womens' hands
Weaknesses: Makes me want to call in to work so I can ride all day. Similar Products Used: Trek 7.2
