Price Paid:
$0.00 Summary: I was originally planning on buying this bike and made a long trip to get one that was on close-out at a fantastic price.
I got on the bike and rode about 5 miles on it. Less than a mile into the ride, I stopped to check to see if the bike tires were low. It was so smooth. I mean butter smooth. Alas it was too big for me and they didn't have a smaller size otherwise I would be an owner. It's too bad Pinarello decided to stop making this bike. Strengths: Very smooth. Solid feeling. Better looking in person... Weaknesses: Handles good, but not snappy and a little heavy for the price. Similar Products Used: Look 555. Fuji Roubaix

at Boulder Cycle Sport Model Year: 2007 Favorite Ride: Boulder Colorado loop Bike Setup: All Ultegra Summary: The 3:13 is my second carbon fiber bike. The other is a new Trek Madone 5.2. I bought both bikes in the same month. Both bikes are very light but the Pinarello is absolutely glass smooth in comparison to the Trek. The Pinarello is the hands down choice for longer rides and fast downhills. Strengths: Outstanding ride. Excellent acceration, very smooth in fast decents. Good oem equipment for the price. Had heard complaints about the wheels but find them to be excellent. Paint and graphics are absolutely outstanding. Fit and finish are first rate. Quiet, no rattles or noises. Stiff frame but comfortable. Great climber. Doesn't lose speed on the flats like the Trek Weaknesses: Frame feels long. My 56cm Trek fits well but the 53cm Pinarello was a stretch. I had to get a 10mm shorter stem to get the fit right. Similar Products Used: Trek Madone 5.2, Cannondale R1000

at LBS Model Year: 2007 Favorite Ride: Laguna Canyon to PCH to Newport Coast Bike Setup: All Ultegra Summary: First ever carbon fiber bike. Upgraded from a vintage steel Scapin from the 80's. Much smoother ride on flats-barely feel the bumps. Very stiff while climbing mountains. I can fly down the mountains also because of the great wheels that come with it. I wanted an Italian bike that was all carbon fiber for under 3K. Found it in the F 3:13. Strengths: the whole bike itself Weaknesses: wish the crank and handle bars that came with it were carbon fiber. Similar Products Used: none
